recommended that you open up your toothbrush before ordering to

the battery measurements because different sizes were fitted to different batches of the same model. You must be competent at soldering to fit this replacement and the fitted tags will need trimming to suit your toothbrush.
Our battery tabs are carefully welded into place using specialist, instant resistance-welding machines for batteries. Do not attempt to solder anything directly onto an untagged NiMH, NiCd or Lithium battery as the heat will cause internal damage and the battery might combust. Unless otherwise stated our batteries are fitted with extra-narrow, 3mm-width solder tags for maximum flexibility in fitting your toothbrush.
This high capacity rechargeable battery is fitted with solder tags specially offset to fit the Braun Oral-B Triumph range of toothbrushes that have a built-in display screen, including the Triumph Professional Care 4000, 5000 and 9000 series (types 3731, 3738 and 3745) and similar. This battery is 43mm long. Please open your toothbrush to check the length of your battery as Braun fit two different sizes to the Triumph models depending on year of manufacture and region.
