BUFFALO POTTERY DELDARE WARE "FALLOWFIELD HUNT" SERIES, ARTIST SIGNED, c. 1908

This listing is for a nice antique Buffalo Pottery "Deldare Ware" plate from the "Fallowfield Hunt" Series, c. 1908.
The center of the plate is decorated with a humorous design of a horseman on the ground having been thrown from his horse and the horse running away. The outside border of the plate is decorated with alternating designs of horsemen with the horses in various positions with landscape in between.
The center of the plate is marked "The Fallowfield Hunt" in script and the plate is signed by artist L. Newman. This beautiful plate has great use of color which is complimentary to the khaki color background used on items with the Fallowfield Hunt Series designs.
Measures 5/8" high and 6 3/8" in diameter.  Weighs 1.8 pounds.
The plate is in excellent condition with no noted damage or flaws.
Plate is marked with the Buffalo Pottery trademark backstamp and "Deldare Ware, Underglaze, 1908".
