Frequently Asked Questions
• Does the Head mean I can use the pump to pump water up to the height directly?
No, the pump can lift to the max height when there is no flow. If you want special flow at special height, you must choose more higher head than the height you want to pump (refer to the above Head-Flow Curve graph). the Head ead means when you connect a little hose on the output of pump, the max height of the pump can pump. If you do not connect a little hose on it, it can not pump water to the height in AD.
• Can I connect it to my solar panel?
Yes, you can. Please make sure the output voltage of your solar panel is stable and less than DC24V, otherwise it will damage the pump.
• Can I dry run the pump (run but not pumping water)?
No. Dry run will damage the pump and shorten its working life time.
Note
• The black box contains circuit board rather than transformer, for which input voltage should be
less than DC24V
. The external circuit board is designed for sustaining water temperature up to 100°C.
• This pump is centrifugal pump and cannot expel air automatically. For operation within liquid, it must be
submersible installation
. For outside liquid installation, make sure it is
below the liquid surface.
• Please stop running if the pump is blocked and prevent any hard particles from entering the pump.
